Keeping a healthy Airstream for my rental business is something that is important to us. Through Norwex last couple of years, we've been able to create and maintain easy habits that help keep our Airstream as healthy as we can, and that gives me peace of mind. So I'm here to share with you how we've been dealing with keeping a healthy Airstream. Yes, there are illnesses going around that are pretty contagious. I'm not about to tell you it's not a big deal.

Wipe Down Surfaces. There are a couple different methods to follow. Two of the most popular methods of cleaning is to chemically clean your surfaces or mechanically clean. First, let's talk about the chemical clean, then we'll address mechanically cleaning with Norwex.

• Chemically Clean: If you choose to chemically clean your surfaces, please do so with care. Follow the instructions. Read your particular cleaner container and make sure that you have your surface visibly wet for as long as the instructions say (most average 4-10 minutes), otherwise you're NOT cleaning the surfaces like you think. As per instructions, make sure to wear gloves or wash hands after use, and wipe down the surface AFTER wiping it down with your chemical cleaner. That way no chemicals remain on the surface. These are a part of the instructions on the container...so just follow them to be safe.

• Mechanically Clean: When you mechanically clean, you are using something that will REMOVE the issue (bacteria, grime, etc) from the surface. I like cleaning with Norwex microfiber because it's fast, easy, and works. With Norwex's microfiber, we are removing the problem from the surface. When used & cared for properly, Norwex microfiber can remove 99% of bacteria from a surface. Every pre rental cleaning for us includes wiping our surfaces with a wet Norwex microfiber envirocloth, and during times of the year when I want to be extra careful, I do that wiping down of door knobs and light switches more often with the envirocloth. We choose to have a couple extra cloths handy because it gives me peace of mind knowing that we have a fresh cloth available.
