What other uses can the trailer be rented for?
If you have a tow car, take your family with our Airstream to Grand Canyon, zion national park utah, Yosemite national park, alone California coastal line... Airstream trailer can be used as extra living quarters for out-of town guests especially in Thanksgiving and Christmas. The trailer can also be used as a backdrop or a secluded space for weddings, retreats or just simply any time there isn't enough room in the house. The trailer can be delivered and set up on private property. The Airstream is also available for photo-shoots, on site film and movie accommodations for cast and crew, or as temporary housing while the client's home is being built or remodeled. In long term scenarios, a discounted monthly price can be arranged.

What about making reservations for our chosen destinations?
Reservations and ensuring that there is availability and a vacancy is the responsibility of the renter.

Can we tow the trailer ourselves and insurance requirement?
Yes. We allow most of our Airstream to be towed by your vehicle as long as your auto insurance provide us a full coverage of insurance binder. We have worked with: USAA, AAA, Allstate, Farmers, 20th Century, Liberty Mutual, StateFarm, AIG. If your auto insurance company is not one of these then most likely they won't write for same reason as we don't provide rental insurance because it is consider "high risk".  This is how we be the most affordable and pristine Airstream rental company in Southern California for last 4 years and most of our client actually end up renting our Airstream for free by switching.

What do renters need to bring?
Just personal hygiene items and food.

What is the pet Policy?
Animals are allowed. Certain conditions apply.

Can I move from one location to another?
Maybe. This will largely depend on your comfort and ability in maneuvering trailers. For an extra fee we can move the trailer if you so wish to a different location. We will need to be notified of any relocation of the trailer immediately.

Are full hookups required?
No, but they are preferred and recommended as the trailer has limited resources. Self-sustainability can last about four days with two adults. There is no generator on board, so convenience items such as air conditioning, TV and Microwave will not work under battery power. The refrigerator, water heater, cabin lights, water pump and stove all use either Propane or the 12 volt electrical system.  The trailer has fire-extinguishers, propane leak smoke detectors, and emergency exits.

Smoking Policy 

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the trailer.

Cancellation Policy 
 Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks before reserved rental period commences in order  to receive full deposit refund.

What is the model of the Airstream trailer?

The Airstream trailers are all late model except the two Vintage we have are hollow.

Can we camp without electricity, water, and sewer hook-ups?

You can choose to “rough it” and camp without electricity, water, and/or sewer hook-ups. Full hook-ups are preferred and highly recommended as battery and propane supplies are limited. The trailer has three tanks; One for fresh water with a capacity of 39 gallons, one for gray water (37 gallons) and a black water tank that hold 39 gallons of waste.  Generators available for rent and most come equipped with solar panels. There is also filtered drinking water supplied that flows through a special faucet in the galley sink.

Why some state beach campground only allow certain company to make delivery?

 

To avoid any selling going on inside the State Beach they only allow certain vendor to do delivery. However, in any public state beach campground you are still allow to bring any rental RV inside yourself.  To avoid this we only charge delivery fee to the front of the State Beach.  In order to take it inside you will have to treat us as your secondary party, so we can assist the drop off and pickup inside for you, therefore, day use fee at the gate will be applied.
